The Airdrop that didnt deliver.

A recent theme within many Airdrops has been one of disappointment by providing low or even no allocations to users. Well, Distribute AI carried on the trend with its recent airdrop in June and faced massive backlash from its community.

What caused the Backlash?

Well, it turns out that many people who had used the extension and desktop application for months were not given any allocation to the token ($DIS) airdrop. Resulting in accusations of the project being a scam. This is because users first had ‘submit their wallet’ in order to become eligible for part of the token allocation.

Now, the problem was that Distribute AI did not make it very obvious that users first needed to submit their crypto wallet, there was no official notification about this on the website, app or browser extension. As a result, out of the 100k users who were eligible for rewards, only 23k actually submitted wallets and were eligible for the airdrop.

What now?

Well the $DIS token is live and tradable on exchanges, and even though many have un-installed the extension because of this incident, we at IncreaseYourEarning will keep running the app and wait to see how the next payout season goes.
